My wife and I were on our first trip to Switzerland together and I wanted to be sure that she was able to experience the beauty I had seen on previous trips. This trip was special not only because she was along but also this particular day was my 50th birthday. The day started in Saas Fee socked in fog, so much that you couldn't see anymore than a couple feet in front of you. Regardless, we hopped on the bus to take us to Visp. Here we hopped the train to Lauterbrunnen where we switched to a cog train to start our journey to Jungfrau. As we left Lauterbrunnen the clouds began to part allowing the warm rays of the sun to illuminate the glacier valley below Wengen. I had my camera ready and was able to capture a shot of a lifetime for me! However, I am sure these occur on our planet daily.
